In the 1850 census, Cornelius's wife's name is given as "Lucretia."  Either we accept that the enumerator erred on hearing "Theresa" and put down "Lucretia," which is certainly possible, or Cornelius remarried by 1850.

Mary is said to have been born in 1844, which she obviously was not; she is also said to have died in 1844, which she obviously did not — she is alive (æ 25) and unmarried in the 1850 census.

O'Bryan and after the death of Francis H. in 1832 the repayment of the bond was to Teresa [Carrico] O'Bryan(t) and 4 male heirs, all of which were minors at that time.  Being: Edward, James Robert, Ignatius D. and Francis H. Jr., witnessed by Edward Carrico and ? Edward O'Bryan.

Note that Teresa (O'BRYAN) CARRICO is our subject's wife while Teresa (CARRICO) O'BRYAN is our subject's sister-in-law.

Signed: William Allen, Catherine Allen W - none In 1834 Cornelius Carrico, husband of Theresa O'Bryan, paid $400 to "the widow and heirs of Francis H. O'Bryant (sp) deceased (as paid by O'Bryant as appears by his bond dated November 2 1827)".  The land was described as "60 acres on west side of Allen's Run of Cartwright's Creek" Teresy O'Bryant was named as the widow.  Heirs included Edward P. O'Bryan, James R., Ignatius D, and Francis P. O'Bryan.  Witnesses to the Deed of Land transfer were: J. B. McLain, Edward Carrico, and Edward O'Bryan.

Again, Theresa (O'BRYAN) CARRICO is our subject's wife while the widow, Teresy (CARRICO) O'BRYAN(T), is our subject's sister-in-law.
