CALLAWAY COUNTY, MISSOURI CLARK, JOHN - will dated 20 Jan 1831. Wife Betsy Clark.  To son James Steel Clark, land and negro boys, Joseph & Toliver; to dau., Lucy Ann Clark, land in Randolph Co., Mo., and 640 acres in Tennessee, and the debt from John Irvin's heirs, and negros Anne, and Robert, Jane's youngest child.  To daughter, Amanda Malvina Clark, all the land in Hancock's Prairie, and negro boy Young and negro girl, Susan (Rosses & Betsys children); to son, Jones Clark, negro boys, Aron and William; to Mrs. Nancy Chick, the cabin called Bryans Cabin and 25 acres of land during her lifetime.  To Miss Fanny Chick, bequest of some furniture.  Balance to present wife, Betsy Clark, and at her death to be equally divided between "my children by her with the after exceptions and provisions (viz) my sons, Logan, Isaack & Shelby Clark, and my dau., Betsy Jane Clark, and my son Samuel Shryock Clark, my daughter, Fanny Clark, and my son Benton Clark.  (Probably mentioned in order of age).  Exrs., wife Betsey Clark, Samuel Hopson and Jones Clark.  Wit: Enoch Fruit, James Callison, Samuel L.
