What is the source for our subject dying in Canada?  He was still in Brandon in the 1850 census, age 84.  Well, if he went to Canada at that age, no wonder it killed him.

I don't like calling on enumerator error to make a record fit, but surely this is our subject.  Ephraim has to be in the wrong age class, which is not such an unusual mistake, and perhaps one of the girls is "working out."
