Nathaniel's next-to-youngest sister, born 19 Jun 1814, was given the name Rebecca Massie BURRUS.  Almost certainly, that name was chosen because Rebecca (MASSIE) BURRUS had recently died, probably giving birth to Joseph (or her next child, who also died).

Nathaniel and his father, Roger BURRUS, are the only BURRUS records in the county and only in 1819.  As expected, he drops off the Christian Co. tax roll when Todd Co. is formed in 1820.
