While it's easy to imagine how Cupp might be a mis-reading of Capp and how Bernell might be a mis-reading of Burnell, it's hard to comprehend how Oswell could be a mis-reading of Osburn.  This is surely a case where the original marriage book (or microfilm of it) should be examined.

4.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Osburn BUNNEL (æ 17 b. MO) is living in Prairie Twp., Randolph Co., MO (p. 815), with his parents, Jeromiah BUNNEL (æ 44, b. KY) and Lucy (æ 44, b. KY).

5.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Jeramiah & Lucy BUNNELL are living in Prairie Twp., Randolph Co., MO (p. 185A), just ten households from Lucinda CAPP and her widowed mother, but I can't find their son born ca. 1842 (as James, Willis, Osborne, Osburn, Oswell, or anything else I could think of to search on), and I really looked, up to and including a page-by-page search of Prairie Township.

Many have taken Willis's middle name to be "Austin," but the 4th letter is clearly not a "t" (in addition to looking like a "b," the ascender is not crossed, and this enumerator definitely crosses his t's).  It appears that what the enumerator has written is a phonetic mis-spelling of Osburn.  Mary (CAPP) DUNN is Lucinda's sister, widow of William T. DUNN.
