In 1821, Spain sold Florida to the United States, and in 1845, Florida was admitted to the Union as the 27th state.  There were territorial censuses in 1830 and 1840.  The entire 1890 census was lost.  Below, years in small text indicate no STRAUB/etc. were found; years without links have not been done.
