1773 immigrant to Pennsylvania, who settled in Hampshire Co., VA [now WV]
West Virginia did not separate from Virginia until 1863.  The 1790 and 1800 censuses of Virginia (and thus West Virginia) were lost.  The entire 1890 census was lost.
