1.  "Towns" here are civil divisions comparable to townships.
2.  Not indexed at Ancestry.com; pages are in a group labeled "Not Stated."  These towns are indexed on the Broderbund CD.
The 1840 census is not indexed at Genealogy.com, though the images there are grouped by name.  Images nos. are from Genealogy.com.
3.  When Wyoming County was formed from Genesee in 1841, the Town of Covington went to Wyoming County, except for a portion
that went to create the Town of Pavilion in Genesee County.  In 1842, parts of LeRoy and Stafford were added to Pavilion.
