Census Timeline Tables of German Surname CUPP (and Variations)
in the 1810-1930 Virginia Censuses
Below is my attempt at identifying all CUPP/KAPP/KOPP/etc. households in the 1810 through 1930 censuses of Virginia and arranging them in tables as "timelines."  As best I can, I've tried to follow individual families from year to year and to indicate parentage, where known.   I've also tried to keep children in rows immediately below their parents, geography permitting.   Family names link to family group sheets where the full census records and other information may be found.

Counties that later became part of West Virginia are tabulated on the West Virginia pages

Lines known to be related are identified by the same color.
