Census Record Table of German Surname CUPP (and Variations)
in Pennsylvania in 1830
Below is my attempt at extracting all German CUPP/KAPP/KOPP/etc. records from the 1830 census of Pennsylvania, using available indices.  I tried to sweep widely to catch all phonetic spellings, but I did not extract COPE because it is a common English surname.  Undoubtedly, some individuals enumerated COPE are actually German.  As these COPEs are discovered to be German, they will be added to the table.

The purpose of this page is to act as an enhanced index to these surnames, not as a substitute for obtaining and examining the original records, yourself.  Not all records are clearly readable — I may have made mistakes. 

Family names link to family group sheets where the full census record and other information may be found.  Where known, parents of heads-of-households are given.
