Henry McCray (Sr.) is witness to the will of Samuel Bayles — husband of his aunt, Mary Nodding — on 5 Aug 1825 (p. 21). He is named executor in the will of his father, Daniel McCray, dated 1 Mar 1819 (p. 23).

Says Henry moved to Davidson [now Williamson] Co., TN, ca. 1795, then back to Washington Co., TN, by 1806, based on land transactions. But Henry was married in 1796 in Washington Co., TN. These early pioneers did a lot of speculating in land, land they didn't necessarily live on. I'd prefer to deduce Henry's whereabouts based on the tax rolls.
