STROUP.
William Floyd Stroup, 71, Mt. Sterling Rt. 3, died Tuesday at Berger Hospital, Circleville.
Born in Franklin County Jan. 3, 1902, he was the son of Seymour and Laura Garrison Stroup.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Forsythe Stroup, three sons, Edward Stroup, Massachusetts; Franklin Stroup, Tarrelton (sic), and Bryan Eugene Stroup, Circleville; seven daughters, Mrs. Walter (Mabel) Watts, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. James (Betty) Wilks, Blanchester; Mrs. James (Waneta) Hughes, Columbus; Mrs. Jack (Alice) Kuhns, Circleville; Mrs. Gaylord (Edith) Daniels and Mrs. Janet Donaldson, both of Mt. Sterling, and Miss Mary Louise Stroup, at home; two brothers, four sisters, 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Porter Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling, officiated by Rev. Robert McNeely. Burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
