WARNING: Signs are this page, derived from an Everton Family Group Sheet, is seriously in error. To begin with, it shows the couple living to be over 100 years old, which is unlikely. But mainly, I cannot find any records of them, at least no marriage record and no sign of them in any census. Records show John STRAIN married Mary (CALVIN) HIRONS as his second wife, in 1859. John did have a daughter, Elizabeth, with his first wife, Peggy WILKIN. That Elizabeth was born in 1816 and married three times, none of which marriages were to a Levi STROUP.
