John and Christiana had three daughters, Edith, Estella, and Florence.  Edith married a WEST, and Estella married William DEAPKER, so the granddaughters must be the orphans of their daughter, Florence, who must have married a MARSH and died before the 1900 census (though there are other, less likely scenarios that could explain the data).
