These three men appear to be sons of Peter & Sarah STROUP.  They are listed 15 households from Peter's widow.  There seems little question that he is the Henry R. STROUP living with Margaret in the 1860 and 1870 censuses.  So the question becomes whether he and Margaret were merely living apart in 1850 or did not marry until 1850/51 making Henry her second husband.

Margaret is living with the widow of Peter STROUP, making it extremely likely that Margaret is either the wife of or widow of one of Peter & Sarah's son.  We are hampered by not having an independent list (primary documentation) naming Peter & Sarah's children, and we are further hampered by the lack of marriage records.  It does appear that Margaret either remarried or rejoined Henry STROUP soon after this census (see 1860 and 1870 census records below).  William LOGUE is probably Margaret's brother.

This enumerator was very sloppy.  I really doubt that the cook's surname is STROUP.

I can't read anything to the right of the last "t" in "Margart," but she's indexed "Margart E. Stroup."
