Why is George tallied as "Married," instead of "Divorced" or "Widowed"?  Are he and his wife merely separated?  I don't find Anna, William, or Clara (as STROUP) indexed in the census, though I do find a 25-year-old George STROUP married and living with his wife's parents, in Philadelphia.
