D. M. Stroup and wife are visiting their son, Byron D. Stroup, and family in Jonesboro, Ark.  They will be absent from Lagrange for some time and during the trip will spend a few days at Bloomington, this state, where they will visit the families of Dr. C. C. Stroup and Charles Carpenter, former residents of Lagrange.
D.M. STROUP is Charles's brother, Delbert M. STROUP.

The funeral of Carmi Stroup was held Saturday afternoon...  He is survived by ... four brothers — D.M. Stroup and M.O. Stroup, of Lagrange; Dr. Charles Stroup, of Bloomington, and Ellsworth Stronp (sic), of California — and one sister — Mrs. Charles Carpenter, of Bloomington, Ind.
