John G. Straub, 60, died suddenly yesterday after collapsing in an office at Benjamin Franklin School, 1905 Spring Road S.W., where he had been a faculty member for 12 years.  Mr. Straub was a native of Zanesville, O.  He was a graduate of Ohio State University and held a master's degree from Western Reserve.  He was an Industrial Arts Teacher in Cleveland public schools for 26 years.  He lived at 3632 Sutherland Road, Shaker Heights.  Mr. Straub was an honorary life member of the Natural Science Club and also belonged to the Industrial Arts Club.  Mr. Straub is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary P. Straub, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Murray.  Services will be conducted at 7:30 tonight in the Brown-Son & Forward funeral home, 17022 Kinsman Road, Shaker Heights, by an Army friend of Mr. Straub's, the Rev. William J. Hodder.  He is minister of the Methodist Church in Canal Winchester, O., to which Mr. Straub belonged.  Burial will be in Canal Winchester. (Ohio)
