Mrs. Madgalena Straub, 81, of Baker, passed away Thursday morning April 29, in the Fallon Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Straub was born May 23, 1889 in Neulustdorf, Russia, to Mr. and Mrs. George Kreug.  She was married to Fred Straub October 4, 1911 in Russia.  In 1914 they came to Eureka South Dakota and in 1916 they moved to Montana and homesteaded North of Forsyth.  In 1918 they moved to a farm north of Plevna where they farmed and ranched until retiring in Baker in 1949.  Straub has resided in the Fallon Memorial nursing home since 1966.
