Alice Seasholtz Straub
Alice Robelina Seasholtz Straub, 78, of 6455 Yale Road, Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Castanea Township, died Monday, May 1, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., where she was admitted Sunday.  Her husband, Charles M. Straub, died March 30, 1982.  She was a homemaker.  She retired three years ago as township auditor.  She was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ, Flemington.  Born March 15, 1922, she was a daughter of Wilson and Verna Yost Seasholtz Sr.  Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Keister of Knoxville, Tenn., Deanna Rudy of Lock Haven and Elinda Wilson, with whom she lived; two brothers, William Seasholtz of Castanea and Wilson Seasholtz Jr. of Mill Hall; three sisters, Sara Hinton, Ellen Kaercher and Betty Walizer, all of Lock Haven; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Yost-Gedon’s, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, with the Rev. John W. Silliman of St. Luke United Church of Christ, Flemington, officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Dunnstable Township, Clinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
