Alfred C. STRAUB
Emma Louise DURLING
WARNING:  I have connected the Alfred STRAUB living alone in Chicago to his parents and his wife based on circumstantial evidence; further confirmation is certainly desireable (but note that in addition to the correspondence of names, dates, and places, another son of William Frank STRAUB also became a pressman, a decidedly specialized occupation).  The marriage of Alfred to Emma, the identity of their daughter, and the identity of Emma's parents is documented and not in question.

Louisa may be our subject's child or the daughter of Alfred's brother, William, but those are the only two possibilities, other than being the illegitimate daughter of Genevieve.
