These images of my parents have been removed from my web site because Timothy Dowling put them in the "scrapbook" of his WorldConnect file without asking my permission. When I asked him to remove them, he ignored me. When I complained to RootWeb that this was a violation of my copyright, Dowling changed the images — to Adolph Hitler on my father's page and to an ugly woman on my mother's page. An image of Hitler representing the image of a U.S. soldier in uniform in Germany during World War II putting his life on the line to fight Hitler! When I again complained to RootsWeb, this time for dishonoring the memory of my father and the U.S. military, Dowling put back the original images, altered in an ugly way. I am taking futher steps, but I have learned my lesson and will no longer place personal family photos online, except in a password protected folder. If you have placed family photos online, you may want to check to see if he has used them in his "scrapbook," without your permission.
