Hinton Senr. of FC, carpenter, for 30 pounds, sells tract called "Saplin Ridge" in FC, M&B given on a ridge about 100 yards from a small branch that runs into Bennet's Creek, M&B given for 100 acres; he is to pay with legal interest the sum on or before the 10 June next for the redemption of this said tract of land, than this is null and void Signed Thoms Hinton by mark, TH, before Jno Rawlins, Jos. Whereas Thomas Hinton has surveyed and laid out fo him a tract formerly in PGC, containing 100 acres according to patent 3 Sept 1743, Thomas Hinton for 45 pcm sells parcl called "Saplin Ridge" about 100 yards from Hinton Spring Branch, a quarter of a mile below the spring, M&B given for 100 acres. signed Thomas Hinton by his mark before Thos. Beatty, David Lynn. Receipt. Ack. Rachel wife of Thomas Hinton released dower. AF & duty paid.
