These should be our subjects, but where are the children?  There should be more of them.  Is this enumerator error or do I have the wrong couple?  He's the only Abraham FOSTER in Pennsylvania.

I can't tell whether the third number for females is a "1" or just a mistake.  It's about 1/3 the lenght of the rest of his "1's" looking more like an apostropre than a number (he didn't do this with any other entries — the rest of his 1's were long and definite).

Abraham appears to be enumerated twice, once in the main "Towandy" list (see above) and once after the tally for the township (see below).  That is, at the end of the Towandy Twp. listing is the usual tally of the columns, then two more names are added to the list, then the totals are re-tallied.  The entire enumeration is generally very messy and sloppy, so it wouldn't be surprising that this enumerator botched it and enumerated someone twice.

Canton Twp. begins on the same page that Towandy ends, but at Ancestry.com, the page is missing from the end of the Towandy group and present only at the beginning of the Canton group.
