| NOTICE: George is alleged to be a descendant of the CORBINs of Hall End, Warwickshire, England, but this connection has not been proven. Through the generosity of donor Wilber Ray CORBIN, a patrilineal (direct male line) descendant of our subject has been found and is being tested for the CORBIN Y-chromosome DNA surname project (results expected in late January 2008). Wilber Ray has made another generous offer: to fund the testing of a descendant of Henry CORBIN (1629-1675) of Hall End, Warwickshire, immigrant to Lancaster [now Middlesex] Co., VA. We may not be able to prove the indentities of George's wives, but sooner or later, we will be able to prove who George is! |
