2a. 1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): no Wilson BAKER found in Indiana, nor any widow, Elizabeth BAKER, born in Ohio ca. early 1840s — and, in any case, if Elizabeth were still alive, we'd expect her son to be living with her (see next source). It's probable that Wilson was killed in the Civil War and that Elizabeth died, probably in childbirth.
