1830 IL: Census Records of Surnames STRAUB, STRAUBE, STROOP, STRUB, and Variations

including Variations, such as, STROUP, TROUP, STROPE, STROPES, STRUP, etc.
in the 1830 Census of Illinois

There is one STRAUB/STROUP/etc. indexed as being in the 1830 Census of Illinois:

Simon STROUP, in Galena, Jo Daviess County

but the indices give no page number. I have checked every page of Jo Daviess County (Microfilm Roll 24, pp. 307-317) online at Ancestry.com and at Genealogy.com without finding Simon. A further check of the images indicates that pages 304-306 are missing at both Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com. I can only surmise that Simon was on one of those missing pages.
